[ Surah Al baqara Ayah 156-157]
الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ{١٥٦} أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ{١٥٧}
Those who when any affliction smites them, they say: “Verily, we belong to Allah, and it is to Him that we are destined to return (156)
Upon them will be the blessings and mercy of their Lord, and it is they who are rightly guided.(157) [Al Baqara]
One of the greatest benefits of patience is righteousness in the law of Allah, steadfastness in adherence to religion, caution against a bad conclusion, protection from
deviations and safety from evils. And what indicates the importance of patience and the severity of his need is that the believer turns in this world between two situations, either goodness, then thanksgiving or misfortune is prescribed for him, then patience is prescribed for him.
The Prophet, may Allah’s blessingss and peace be upon him, said:- It is astonishing for the believer’s matters, that all of his affairs are good, and that is not for anyone except for the believer. If a good thing happened to him, then he would give glory to Allah, so it was good for him, and if bad happens to him, patience was good for him. The Almighty said:-
وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ
Allah loves those who persevere(Imran 146)
Al- Jannah for those who are patient with the affliction in this world.
Said "messanger's of Allah" May Allah blessings and peace be upon him:-
إن عظم الجزاء مع عظم البلاء وإن الله إذا أحب قوما ابتلاهم فمن رضي فله الرضا ومن سخط فله السخط).
The greatness of the reward is with the greatness of the calamity, and that if Allah loves a people, He will test them.Whoever is satisfied has contentment, and whoever is angry, then he has discontent.
Many people are able to do obedience and are patient with them, but they are impatient for sins and their persistence due to the weakness of his faith and the predominance of passion over his actions His companionship with the people of negligence, his ignorance of the legal meanings and his lack of piety, and whoever does not have patience with the addiction of forbidden he is not described as one of the patient,It does not attain the rank of the mujahideen for themselves.
said the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace:-
(المهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه).
A migrant is a person who abandons what Allah forbids.
It includes patience on misfortune . leaves complaining about calamity to someone else, except Almighty Allah, because complaining to a creature is humiliating and contradictory to the meaning of patience, And lack of trust in Allah, and the Prophet Ayoub, peace and blessings be upon him, when he was afflicted, complained to Allah,
Almighty Allah said:-
وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
And ˹Oh Muhammad remember˺ when Ayoub cried out to his Lord, "Allah"
“I have been touched with adversity, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.[Surah Al Anbya 83]
Allah praised him as patience.
The Almighty said:-
إِنَّا وَجَدْنَٰهُ صَابِرًا ۚ نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْد ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
We truly found him patient. What an excellent servant ˹he was˺! Indeed, he ˹constantly˺ turned to Allah.[Surah sad 44]
Oh Allah we ask you for steadfastness, guidance, obedience and patience، He is the All-Hearing, the Knowing.
